ATHLETE

80 - SHIJUAN ROGERS

In this week's player spotlight, The BEAST would like to recognize Shijuan Rogers. Shijuan is a veteran of the United States Marine Corps. He has played football while serving in the military as well as Semi-Pro in California. During the first two games of the season he has made an impact on his teammates and coaches alike. More importantly, his impact on other teams has credited him as the Defensive Player of the Week. On his spare time, he enjoys spending time with his wife and kids.

Wide Receiver

11 - Dakari Mullins

This week The BEAST would like to recognize Wide Receiver Dakari Mullins. Dakari is a second year BEAST Wide Receiver that was apart of the 2024 National Championship season. A few injuries kept him quiet in the beginning of the year, but over the last few weeks he has come to form. Dakari has 5 TDs and over 250 yds receiving in the last two games earning him Offensive Player of the Week. Dakari currently works as a low voltage wireman and security installation. Dakari has interests in playing football at the next level.

Defensive End

45 - Asadullah Khalif Mateen "Archie"

This week The BEAST would like to recognize Defensive End Asadullah Khalif Mateen "Archie." Although no stranger to Minor League Football, Asadullah is a first year Virginia BEAST player that has earned his starting position on the Defensive Line. He recently traveled back to the DMV area and instantly wanted to earn his keep with The BEAST. He has been dominating at the Defensive End position all year by causing havoc for offensive tackles. He has already sacked every QB in every game thus far. Asadullah is a multi talented person on and off the field. He has held positions as a Barber, Electrician, and host of a POD Cast. Currently he works as a TA at a public charter school.

13-Greg Sims

This week The BEAST would like to recognize Greg Sims. A Defensive Back that has earned the starting position. Greg played collegiate ball at Shenandoah University and George Mason University where he received his degree in Criminal Justice. He currently works at Carahsoft Technologies as a sales rep.

LInebacker

20 - Trent Clark

The BEAST would like to recognize Trent Clark. Trent is a defensive veteran starting at the LB position. He has been an asset to the organization on and off the field. He has played football professionally overseas, as well as on many semi pro organizations. He spends his time outside of football as a successful entrepreneur of multiple companies as well as an Active Duty Servicemember of over 23 years.

Running Back

26 - Akiel Smalley

This week The BEAST would like to recognize Akiel Smalley. Akiel is a legend in Northern Virginia when it comes to playing football. He has been around the game for 16 years earning him 10 championships at the professional and semi pro level. He is a pillar of the community. He contributes his time to coaching, mentoring, and teaching the youth. Akiel is no doubt, a future Hall of Famer.

0 - Linebacker

Kyle "Kauwalu" Michael is a hard hitting linebacker that plays all over on the field. A native of Hawaii, he graduated from Liberty High School in Bealeton, VA where he lettered in varsity football. Kyle is a proud husband and father of 3. He works as a telecommunications foreman and a small business owner.

OFFENSIVE LINE

TRENCH MOB

The BEAST Offensive Line is the heart and soul of the Offense. Without them, we don't thrive. They have protected the quarterback by only giving up 5 sacks, over 1,000 yds passing, and over 1,000 yards rushing.

Defensive Line

6 - Jeremiah Menefee

Jeremiah is a native of Culpeper, VA. He moved from the offense to the defense, where he is lethal on the front line. Thus far, he has racked up 8 Sacks/TFLs and 8 solo tackles. His ability to shed blockers causes nightmares for Offensive Lineman. Jeremiah is currently in school to get his CDL.

Defensive Back / Linebacker

22 - Kaysahn Brown

Kaysahn is a hard-hitting defensive player that has a nose for the ball. He constantly finds himself in the backfield with 7 Sacks/TFLs, 2 FF, 1 FR, 1 INT, and a Safety. Kaysahn is an entrepreneur that currently runs his clothing line dubbed "BAG SEASON." He has a goal of playing professional football at any level.

Wide Receiver

1 - Xavier Savannah

Xavier is a Martinsville, VA. Native. He moved to Northern VA to attend George Mason University, where he excelled on their Rec football team and obtained his Bachelor's Degree in Kinesiology. Xavier currently works several jobs while waiting for his certification as a collegiate strength and conditioning coach.

Quarterback

2 - Jaeden Wyatt, Jr.

Jaeden is a converted wide receiver from Garfield High School in Woodbridge, VA. He has already throw 14 TDs to only 3 INTs in his first 6 games, while posting a QBR rating of 105. When not playing football, Jaeden is preparing for his next chapter in life, to serve our country in the United States Air Force.

Running Back

4 - Nate Gaines

Nate is a veteran running back in the semi pro world. His elusive hard running ability has earned him starting running back for the Beast. He is an alum of Forest Park High School in Woodbridge VA. Nate currently works as an IT specialist while pursuing his football dream.

Defensive Back

21 - Jarred Porter

Jarred attended Bryant and Stratton College in Virginia, where he studied Business Management. He is a dual athlete that excels in baseball and football. On the field, Jarred calls the signals for the defensive backs and has already compiled 3 INT and a punt return for a TD.

Defensive End

16 - Jordan Leach

Jordan is an alum of Freedom High School in Woodbridge, VA. His 6'2, 250 lb frame along with his playmaking ability have made him a threat on the defensive front. He has compiled two scoop and score touchdowns while playing football at a very high level. Jordan currently is in school for his real estate license.

Wide Receiver

5 - Kavary Hill

Kavary is native of Woodbridge, VA. At 6'4, this wide receiver has already compiled 3 touchdowns in the first 2 games. He currently works as a HVAC technician while he pursues his dream of playing at the highest level of competition.

Linebacker

24 - J'Aire Galloway

J'Aire is a converted Linebacker and has already compiled 2.5 Sacks, a Fumble Recovery, and touchdown in his debut. He's a Woodbridge, VA native who excelled at Garfield High School. He currently works with special needs children. J'Aire's ambition is to make it to the Pros.
